Sumerduck Farm has been home to Angora goats for about 7 years now. We currently have both White and Colored Angoras. They are a gentle loving breed with beautiful locks of Mohair.
We shear them 2 times a year and send off their fleeces to be washed, and combed into roving.
Roving is then used by hand spinners to be spun into yarn.

Below are pictures of 2 of our girls.

Lavender is a yearling doe. Her color is white and her fleece is very soft and luxurious to feel.

Her fleece is available as roving or raw (right off the goat).
If you would like to purchase her roving or raw fleece, please leave your name and a way to contact you.
She is bred to Sam (head Angora sire) and due to kid in late May/early June.

Lilac is Lavender's yearling twin sister. Her white fleece is also exceptionally soft and silky.

Her fleece is also available as roving or as a raw fleece. If you would like to purchase her roving or raw fleece, please leave your name and a way to contact you.
She is also bred to Sam (head Angora sire) and due to kid in late May/early June.

We hope to have both white and colored male and female babies for sale late spring/early summer. Please leave us a way to contact you for updates.
